David Trudgen, Founder & President of GotJewelry.com

David Trudgen graduated from DePauw University (’91) with a B.A. in Geology. David continued his education to obtain degrees in Graduate Gemology, Faceting and Appraisals at the accredited Gemological Institute of America.   His past experiences includes employment with Westinghouse as an Environmental Geologist, free lance sales representative for a major diamond wholesaler in Los Angeles and a high end fine jewelry manufacturer in Chicago prior to branching out on his own. Formerly founded as Trudgen International in 1993, a name change to GotJewelry, Inc. was made in 2006 after aquiring www.gotjewelry.com. 

David’s experiences have lead him to extensive travel throughout Burma, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, and Central African Republic where he secured multiple wholesale contacts for emeralds, rubies, sapphires, diamonds and other unique gemstones.

 He has successfully implemented his corporate goal of supplying fine quality jewelry and gemstones to private clientele at wholesale prices while maintaining personalized service, custom work and the highest quality. He has been able to achieve this model by maintaining low prices and overhead, thus passing on these savings to his numerous clients across the country while working with the highest quality goods and craftsmen.
